Lithium-Ion (Li-Ion) batteries are based on cutting-edge battery technology. They bare the optimal choice for portable computers, cellular phones and other small portable devices. Li-Ion batteries have high-energy density and high voltage. A typical Li-Ion cell is 3.7V which is triple the voltage of a standard Ni-Cd or Ni-MH cell.
